Members of two SKA offices along with our own Stephen Robinson, PE attended a plant tour at Stalite Lightweight Aggregate on Friday. The rotary kiln process was fascinating, and Stalite plant representatives explained the steps at each stop on the tour. Our Structural group now has a better understanding of structures made with concrete containing this lightweight aggregate along with its many benefits pertaining to cost and durability.
