SKA provided structural engineering services for the HPU Parking Deck completed before classes began in Fall 2023. This is the first parking deck on High Point University’s campus. This deck is a 5-level, 1,100 car parking deck constructed utilizing precast concrete. The exterior wall panels were cast with thin brick that is integral with the precast panel. The stair towers have pitched roofs with operational clocks in the gables that face campus and the spread footing foundations are supported on aggregate piers. The primary entrance is flanked on each side by water walls and has a coffee shop inside.
