SKA performed field air infiltration, water penetration, and water spray testing on selected curtain wall and storefront window assemblies at MUSC Health Black River Medical Center. The field testing was performed on three EFCO 526 Impact Storefront Systems, which were located on the North, South, and West elevations of the building and five EFCO 5600 Impact Curtain Wall Systems which were all located on the East elevation of the building. As requested, SKA came back to the site a few months later and repeated testing on a few of the curtain walls. The assemblies passed the water testing and the client will be assured of air and water leak free windows on their new buildings.
