SKA is providing building envelope consulting services for both Memorial Hall and the King Building, which have a combined budget of $1.1M for renovation work. As part of services, SKA performed condition assessments of the two existing buildings to identify the general condition of the roof and facade components on Memorial Hall and of the facade components only of the King Building; and to visually identity potential areas of water intrusion. Following the completion of the condition assessments, SKA provided conceptual recommendations for repair and an engineering opinion of cost. The scope of the project includes repairs and/or replacement to the existing windows, flashing, sealants of both buildings, as well as, the replacement of the roof of Memorial Hall. Our recommendations include window replacement, flashing repairs and roof replacement. Size: 13,390 sf (King) + 13,100 sf roof (Memorial)
