SKA is providing structural engineering services associated with the analysis and design of the foundation system and structural engineering consulting for the proposed two new hangars to be constructed at the Hickory Airport in Hickory, North Carolina. The building structures will be a pre-engineered metal building. SKA provided foundation design for the support of the pre-engineered metal building and design of the slab-on-grade within the building footprint. Hangar 1 size: 12.200 sf, Hangar 2 size: 18,749 sf.
