Centenary United Methodist Church is a 90,000 sf facility built in 1930 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Projects at this historic church over time have included a facade condition survey, chimney masonry assessment, changes to the sanctuary lighting, and most recently, a roof assessment and concrete wall investigation.

SKA also provided engineering design and construction services for renovations of HVAC system. Phase 1 of this project included renovation of heating plant, new boiler, distribution piping mains for heating water and chilled water, and central control system. Phase 2 included a new 420-ton central chilled water plant, tie-in of distribution piping, and renovation of sanctuary, auditorium, chapel and office HVAC systems. The chiller plant includes modular water-cooled chillers, winter cooling with cooling towers, and provisions for building expansion.
