“I had another incredible experience at the AMPP: Association for Materials Protection and Performance Protective Coating Specialist Standard Setting Workshop last week in Houston.
Setting appropriate standards for corrosion and protective coating certifications is essential for promoting public safety and responsible management of assets to economically extend their service life. AMPP’s scientific rigor and their commitment to fairly evaluating potential certification candidates are truly impressive.
I enjoyed the lively debate and appreciated hearing the diverse points of view offered by experts from various geographic and practice areas. Thank you to Christopher Bialko and Theresa Collins for organizing and administering the workshop and to the other participants for their valued discussion. I always come away from these workshops with new perspectives and a greater appreciation for the process and people that support it.
