SKA provided structural repairs of the pool which included a complete replacement of the cladding of the west wall of the pool. The plaster walls were also resurfaced in areas where they had deteriorated and/or been damaged. In 2017, SKA conducted a structural investigation of the pool structure and an assessment of the existing pool equipment/operational systems. There were significant leaks due to failure of existing concrete water-stops and concrete structure deficiencies. The existing pool equipment was assessed and determined to be at the end of its useful life cycle. SKA designed an electrical renovation for the existing Corbett Center electrical and mechanical rooms. SKA also provided design for a replacement diesel generator and associated systems to provide emergency power for life safety systems.
